Barca Hand-Forged Damascus Steel Folding Knife - Carved Bone
Hannibal Barca, born in 247 BC, was a Carthaginian general and is widely considered one of the greatest military commanders in history. He is possibly most well-known because of his ability to tame elephants, which he then used to cross the Alps to get to Italy. Barca lived right before Rome’s golden age, when Roman generals were attempting to conquer land in order to increase Rome’s size and grandeur. Barca was able to continue the offensive and conquer several Italian cities that were allied to Rome. It was thanks to him that Northwest Africa was able to maintain their independence for as long as they did. Barca was a brilliant strategist and after his defeat, Roman generals used the tactics deployed by Barca to help them fight and win wars.
We named this unique folding knife after Hannibal Barca because of its exquisite carved buffalo bone handles. This feels like a knife that would be gifted to someone with such an incredible life. This knife comes with two thumb openers and has an ambidextrous design so it can be used by either a right-handed or left-handed person. The stainless steel liner has the liner-lock built in so it does not add any unnecessary thickness to the knife. This incredibly unique handmade Damascus steel folder will be a prized knife in your collection and a great conversation piece.
We also offer this knife with a Tali Wood handle.
