Our 8” hand-forged Damascus steel chef knife will reinvigorate your cooking. This knife is by no means a dainty tool. Weighing half a pound, it is a beast of a knife and will easily chop through vegetables with authority, while giving you enough heft to slice through meat and bone. Made of 1095 and 15n20 steels, the high carbon content of 1095 gives this knife and extremely sharp and durable edge and makes it the ideal choice for chefs around the world. High carbon steels are much easier to sharpen than stainless steel knives as well. Care Instructions

1095 steel is a high-carbon steel and will rust if not dried and oiled after use. Do not put in dishwasher. Hand wash only with soap and hot water. Dry completely after washing and before oiling.
